PropaneLV is an up and coming artist who has made some pretty big waves in the musical world lately with the release of his two latest music videos and tracks entitled "Weeknd Romance" and "Paid In Full Freestyle". His Latest track he recently dropped, "One More Time" Prod. M83 has already begun to gain rave reviews all over the internet as well as anywhere the track is played/heard. Propane hosts a weekly video series on YouTube entitled Sunday Wrap-Up and has recently began guest writing for the blog DirtyLaces.com. Espi Music had the privilege of sitting down with propane and get to know this artist a little better, check out the interview below!
Espi Music: Really cool to sit down with you man, to start things off you mind telling the readers of Espi Music a little bit about yourself?
PropaneLV: I am currently a white rapper from Portland, Oregon. My real name is Dustin Ponzoha but my mother calls me Dusty bust.
Espi Music: Haha "Dusty Bust" I guess that why that contact pulls up on the chicks phone in the "Weeknd Romance" vid. How is the college life and girls treating you?
PropaneLV: I've never really been able to sit still for more than 10 minutes at a time that being said College girls with the ability to cook have always been kind to me.
Espi Music: I gotta say I agree with that bro, I myself have 2 or 3 houses I frequent for food. So how long have you been rapping / creating music for?
PropaneLV: Long enough to have my girl leave me for someone with a real job, My father to disown me and my sexuality to be in question on more than one occasion.
Espi Music: Probably one of the best answers I have ever received on a question like that bro, good shit. Who have / do you take inspiration from musically?
PropaneLV: Credence Clearwater Revival, Journey, and the majority of attractive light skinned women.
Espi Music: Nice. So what was the experience of filming "Weeknd Romance" the music video like?
PropaneLV: I hadn't spent much time in front of a camera at that point. I was pretty nervous. Plus I had to look cool in front of the half naked chick walking around the entire time. I drank cheap champagne to calm my nerves and was damn near drunk by the end of the shoot. Great all around experience though, can't wait to do it again.

PropaneLV: Shelby is her name. She recently accepted a big job offer in LA and is doing very, very well for herself. She is a doll, as you can see.
Espi Music: So is there any one track you are most proud of?
PropaneLV: I think it would be Weeknd Romance. I recorded 4 songs in the day and a half I went home (Corvallis, OR). I think I was the least confident in that song just because I was poking fun at myself and I wasn't really sure how that would be perceived. The work Chi Duly put into that song turned it into the monster it became for me. I respect his musical opinion more than anyone I've ever worked with so to get a simple nod of approval from him made me feel like we were on to something.
Espi Music: How did you and Chi Duly meet?
PropaneLV: We met each other through christianmingle.com, everything just seemed to click after that.
Espi Music: Cool Cool man, Chi sounds to be a pretty cool guy. So what are you currently working on?
PropaneLV: Branding, and a plethora of songs from different genres. Outside of that keeping my side chick right where she is, I can't deal with the pressures of pleasing a girlfriend so as long as she is easy to deal with we're good.
Espi Music: Spoken like a true artist bro lol. Have you worked with any other artist in the past?
PropaneLV: I've worked with other rappers, but artists not so much.
Espi Music: Can we expect any shows in the future?
PropaneLV: Here and there, I'd rather not do to many shows and find myself becoming repetitive to the same audience.
Espi Music: Understandable bro. So where did the name "PropaneLV" derive from?
PropaneLV: My good friend Zilla Large (Josh) was like "Ahhh that's my boy Propane right there!" After that it stuck. I hated it at first but it stuck to the point I wasn't going to escape it. The LV came later when I started going Hollywood and feeling like I was better than everyone around me. The next step is creating a symbol I can be recognized by or simply the artist formally known as...
Espi Music: I know you just released "Paid In Full Freestyle" music video but what video can we expect to see next?
PropaneLV: Last Night Stand is the next song I'm going to put out, its super sellout. Then a video "rearview" that is even more sellout will follow that one.

PropaneLV: Hopefully anything but children and a 9 to 5.
